Visitors’ Centre to be constructed at Ecotourism Facility in Addu atoll Hithadhoo Eydhigali Protected Area

Contract has been signed with Wee Hour Investment Private Limited for the construction of a Visitor’s Centre at the Eco-tourism Facility in S. Hithadhoo Eydhigali Protected Area. Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thoriq Ibrahim signed the contract agreement on behalf of the Ministry while the General Manager, Mr. Hamdhoon Anees signed on behalf of Wee Hour Investments.

This is funded by Climate Change Adaptation Project (CCAP). The total cost of the works is MVR 8.2 Million and is scheduled to be completed within 8 months from contract award date.
