A workshop on SDGs for Addu and Fuvahmulah held in Fuvahmulah city

A workshop on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Addu city and Fuvahmulah, was held in Fuvahmulah city from 18-19 September 2017.
In this workshop, information was given regarding the Sustainable Development Goals and discussions were held regarding the roles of CSOs and Non-Government Organizations (NGOs) in achieving the goals.

The main objective of this workshop is to get prepared for the ‘Civil Society Organizations Forum on Sustainable Development Goals 2017’ , to be held in October in Male’ city. In this forum, a roadmap will be developed regarding the projects that could be implemented to achieve SDGs. Discussions will also be held regarding the ongoing and scheduled projects of CSOs related to SDGs.

The first round of these workshops was held for Haa Alifu, Haa Dhaalu and Shaviyani atoll, in HDH. Kulhudhuffushi from 16-17 August 2017. The second round of the workshop was held for CSOs Noonu, Raa, Baa, Lhaviyani, Kaafu, Alifu Alifu, Alifu Dhaalu, Vaavu, Meemu, Faafu, Dhaalu, Thaa and Laamu atoll, from 11-12 September 2017 in Male’ city. A workshop was also held for

International CSOs on 16th September 2017. A workshop is also scheduled for CSOs of Gaafu Alifu and Gaafu Dhaalu atoll from 14-15 October 2017.
