Project commenced to provide fresh water in Haa Dhaalu atoll Nolhivaranfaru island

The Government of Maldives has commenced the project on establishing a water supply facility in Nolhivaranfaru island of Haa Dhaalu atoll. This project was inaugurated by Minister of Environment Dr. Hussain Rasheed Hassan. The project was initiated as part of the government’s efforts to provide safe drinking water to all citizens of the Maldives.

The project on establishing water supply facility in HDH. Nolhivaranfaru is managed by Ministry of Environment and was contracted to Canadian Crystalline Water Indier Limited on 01st November 2018. Worth over MVR 31,846,106.82, the project is funded by Green Climate Fund (GCF). This project is scheduled to be completed in November 2019.
