Certificates awarded to the participants of Rangers training workshop

Certificates awarded to the participants of “Excellence in Field Management of Natural Resources – A technical training for Rangers” workshop. This workshop was held from 24th to 27th August 2017 at Baa atoll Eydhafushi island.

The purpose of this training workshop is to provide island and marine protected area managers in the Maldives with a foundation in island and reef management theory and practice based on local needs and lessons learnt elsewhere (including the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Area, Australia.

A total of 15 participants from Baa Atoll Biosphere Reserve, MNU, CCAP Rangers in Addu and Fuvahmulah, MEE and EPA participated in the training. The training was facilitated by Terry Harper and a representative from the Great Barrier Reef Field Management Programme.
